2022 Quilt Along - Confections

We are so excited to be back with our 3rd free annual quilt along!

This year we are embracing color and creating a rainbow. We'll be making 12 different blocks in 10 different colors for an amazing quilt top.

All blocks are traditionally pieced. We'll be posting videos on our blog the 2nd Wednesday of each month, all year long.

There is no fee to participate, simply visit the blog and sew along.

Fabric Requirements:

6 1/4 yards white

1/2 yard of 10 different colors

The colors we used are (all Michael Miller Cotton Couture):

Magenta
Cherry
Apricot
Marigold
Lemon
Lime
Green
Isle
Malibu
Purple

5 1/4 yards backing

2/3 yard binding (We are using gray but you could pick any of your 10 colors as well)

The finished quilt is approximately 71x83".

When selecting your fabric, you can go with a full rainbow, or just a section. Do all reds/yellows/oranges, or all blues/greens/turquoise, whatever you like!

This is also a great scrappy project. You could go through your scraps and find a bunch of different prints in each color and make each block from a different scrap.
